SANDIE R. HALL

For as long as she can remember, plants have fascinated Sandie. Growing from a curious attachment to houseplants as a young girl to an impressively populated herb garden today, her passion has been nurtured through self-education and the laboratory of her family’s private gardens. Lectures offered through the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Ladew Topiary Gardens, and Longwood Gardens have greatly influenced her understanding, style, and goals.

She is currently pursuing her Certification in Ornamental Horticulture through intense study of annuals, perennials, ornamental shrubs and trees, and conifers. Learning to identify and incorporate native plants into planned garden environments is the focus of her attention. She hopes to work more closely with Classic designers and clients in the future to further this objective.

Sandie’s contribution to Classic right now lies largely in supporting the endeavors of president and CEO {and husband!} Scott, the sales and marketing team, and client care staff. She has also been known to produce culinary Christmas delights for Classic clients. The “gracious service” aspect of the company’s mission statement is of particular interest to her.

As with her husband, her greatest joy is found in her family. When she is not educating her son or busy at home, Sandie can usually be found either in her garden, or visiting with her small herd of Pygora goats and Buff Orpington chickens.
